Email Link in InDesign opens Browser First

Hello,

I've created a link to an email address that is clickable in the pdf, ie. mailto:name@destination.com.

Unfortunately, when clicked, a browser window opens first followed by the mail address. Could be just my system of course. Has anyone created an email link without this occuring?

Yes, this is your system. Mailto links are HMTL, which is handled by your browser. Your browser must open to recognize the link, then the browser depends on your system settings to open an assigned email program.
