hi. i have a user that hasn't had any problems with GoldMine 6.0 for a few years. Now he logs in and gets an error that says "The account is being checked in the background. Please try again.". Sometimes he can't get any email in his inbox.

Also, he seems to have lost all recent mail. He only has mail in his inbox from February-August 2006 and nothing later. Not aware of any changes or deletions.

any help or guidance would be appreciated. thanks.

I'll bet his Inbox has too many messages. Once the Inbox become overrun with messages, the remainder won't display.

Try deleting messages or moving them to another Folder or additional Inbox.

I'll bet this will take care of your problem.

Ps - I have a user like this, too. HAppens every 6 months or so!
