Email issues with Informatica

I am getting the following errors when attempting to send email from informatica:

ERROR : TM_6292 : (524854|1) Session task instance [s_m_ld_wbi_sc_inact]: CMN_1126 [Error writing to temporary email file (out of disk space?)].

yet I can send email from the command line as informatica userid??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
