On my computer, working on a web page using Front Page Ver. 4, my email hyperlink tested out OK. Now I cannot get it to test. When I use Ctrl+Click nothing happens. I believe my coding is correct, and I have checked it several times.

If it worked before, then something's been changed. The first thing is make sure it says:

mailto:email@email.com (substituting in the proper email address of course)

The second thing is to make sure you're online. I clicked on email link while offline. It opened about twenty windows of Internet Explorer and said the DNS was incorrect. But no problem if I logged onto the net.

The third thing to try is to double-click on the link instead of Control-Click. Not sure if that'll make a difference or not, but it might, especially in different browsers.

Use the new feature in FP to do this, it is pretty awesome.
When you create hyperlink the left side menu has the mailto: option. Select that, then fill out all the options, you can even define a subject line! Mike Barone
