Email format in data window

hi,
As i am new to power builder i am facing an issue with the email format in datawindow
i want format as something like this xyz@abc.com with validations
can someone please help me with the validation of email format ASAP.

You could check for an ampersand (@) in the string.

IF POS(emailstring,'@') > 0 THEN...
