Email Distribution List

I am trying to figure out how to create a mass mailing (using an existing distribution list) - using the To field to create a personalized email. In other words, not have the receipient be able to view the distribution list.

I realize that this can kinda be done using BCC - but it doesn't have the same effect as a personalized address (in the to field).

Someone in my company had suggested creating an agent to do this, but I have looked in many places and can't find the answer. I am new to notes programming so if you can be specific, it would be appreciated.
