email connection dropping out

Could anyone tell me what error message Ox800CCCOF means?
I connect to our postmaster via a dial up connection, once connected outlook express tries to download my messages but the connection fails.

I have tried adjusting the system wait time to 5 mins but the connection still drops out after about 30 secs?

after reconfiguring the system to wait 5mins, does it drop out AFTER the 5mins or after about 30 secs regardless, without waiting 5mins?? Jay~

Does this happen all the time or occationally? Do others experience the same problem?

Sometimes an oversize message, bogus address or spam storm can result in this error.

It happens all the time for the last two days. I think I'll have to get someone to delete any oversized messages in my inbox and see if that works.
