I have an A97 database that creates employee badges, each with their own employee ID barcode. I would like to be able to email the report using Outlook98 to the employee that laminates the badges instead of ending them interplant snail mail. (Which is worse that the USPS). I have tried every format available in SendObject but none of them retain the original formatting. Is this even possible? If so would someone please explain how?

TIA

The Snapshot format will do what you want, but the receiving computer needs to have Microsoft Snapshot Viewer installed on it to read the file format. And you would use the sendobject function to do this. I have implemented it myself to email reports to sales people at my company. Joe Miller

Thanks Joe,
I've tried the snapshot viewer, but the Barcode shown is it's numeric value not the actual barcode. Could it be that the recipient does not have the appropriate font?

Is the barcode not showing on your side as well? If you see the barcode in the viewer and the recipient does not then I would suspect that the font not being installed is the case.

Thanks again Joe,
I'll check out the fonts - hopefully that will solve our problem.
