After a penetration test I have found that our email server is presenting some information about the exchange version and virus software and version in the email banner. Does anyone know how to remove this. Have googled this but not much came back.

Unfortunately I do not believe you can change the exchange banner, it can be modified in later versions but not 5.5.


Carlsberg don't run I.T departments, but if they did they'd probably be more fun.

If you sit behind a Cisco firewall you can run a command to hide it, otherwise no.
