I am attempting establish a table that includes email addresses. What I would like to do is to automatically complete this entry with the common information that is recorded after the user name (i.e. @xxxx.com). I have tried to modify the mask field but the information does not populate. What should I do?

I am useing Access version 11.0 on a Dell PC (OptiPlex GX270) Operating System - Windows XP Professional with 512 physical and 1.7 GB virtual memory.

Have you tried modifying the input mask for this field on your form? Try the following example (with the quotes): CCCCCCCCCCCCCCC"@microsoft.com";0;_

You can change the company name to what you want. The 15 "C"'s give you the ability to enter up to any 15 numbers, characters or symbols. You can specify as many C's as you would like (note: they must be capital C). Then when you look at the table, you will see any extra spaces have been removed and the entire e-mail address is stored in your table.

Hope that helps.

Bob
