I am trying to set up my contact form to send via email directly from the server, and I am not having much luck. I have a SMTP server already set up with the hosting company, as they also handle my email server. I tried CDONTS a little, but not sure how to configure it on the server side, if I need to at all. The Administrator is not very responsive, I think it's because I am doing the programming myself instead of paying him to.

I set one up on a Apachie server, and it was 3 command lines calling a cgi script they had on their server.

Any help, or sugjestions here is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Mike

cdonts only runs on the server, and can be configured via IIS (on the server). It too only needs a couple of lines - once it works!

You may want to use ASPEmail by Persits software ( This runs on any pc, and just requires you to specify an SMTP 'host' IP address, plus the To: Subject and Body, of course! (Content Management)
