Emable PO Receipts for External User

Hi,

In Accpac 6, What are my options to enable our logistics & freight provider access to receipting PO's.
Ideally they should only be able to receipt PO's which are being shipped via them. And only receipts, nothing else.

The way we work is that our suppliers send goods we've ordered to our logistics partner. There they are being consolidated and shipped to the respective countries.
I/C is not very sophisticated and in PO I can't link a PO to a supplier.

Just curious how others are doing it and what modules or customisation they are using?

I did a modification for a client that wrapped the O/E shipment screen in an executable. The shipping company can run the .exe which logs them into Accpac and they have the O/E shipment screen and nothing else.

Within a custom screen you can add all sorts of business logic like filters on the finders and preventing the user from accessing POs that they shouldn't access.

Can that be done with normal VB6 or do I need the SDK?

WOuld be great if you could share some code.

You don't want the SDK - never mind need it. Stick with VB6.
