Em,pty Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box

Hi,

I've got a Windows 98 SE machine. When I open the "Add/Remove Programs" program there is no software listed like it used to. Any ideas how this can be fixed?

Update your AV program with the latest files, and do a virus search.
Also, run Ad-aware, Spybot, and CWShredder to remove any spyware.

If no luck and the problem happened within the last 5 days then restart the computer, press and hold the Ctrl key, select 'Command prompt only' from the startup menu using the arrow keys, press Enter, at the C:\> prompt type scanreg /restore and press Enter, select a Registry that predates the problem, and press Enter.

got Tweakui installed?
Start > Run
control tweakui.cpl
Adjust the ticks in Add/Remove Programs tab area.

Unless someone is playing a trick on you, or you're on a Network with a SysAdmin in charge - you prolly got a Virus like Ski said
