If i might be allowed to add that the old ELU32
is completely fased out.

If you are a Ericsson partner you should use the
replacement program from Ericsson
to get the old board replaced.
Or let the Sales/Service Provider do it for you .

From Ericsson:
This Phase Out News formally announces the discontinuation of the IP extension board, ELU32, ROF 137 5416/2, originally released with BC11. This unit is replaced by a newer, improved, version, ELU32, ROF137 5428/1, with a four-folded capacity. In the following we refer to these as the "old" or "new" ELU32.

Since the release of the new ELU32 in MD110, BC11, Service Pack 8 all sales of the older version were discontinued and pending orders were effectively converted to the new ELU32.

No new features will be introduced on the older ELU32. New features, added to BC11 with Service Pack 9 and forthcoming improvements will only be implemented on the new ELU32. The two boards may, however, co-exist in a LIM or a system.

The raised capacity of the new ELU32 means that it is capable of replacing four old boards. To encourage our customers to harmonize their equipment we are announcing a trade in of the old ELU32s until end of June 2003, offering a reimbursement of EUR 105 per old ELU32.

MUCHO THANKS FOR THE INFO SYAR2003!
