The ELU32 interface is a 10/100Mb interface - This by default Auto-Negotiates the Speed & Duplex. During some testing with some other stuff today we connected it to a Cisco Catalyst switch that was configured for Auto-Speed and Auto-Duplex. The stats on the switch port showed Speed 100 (Auto) and Duplex Full (Auto). Now that is all cool BUT what happens if the ELU32 is connected to a 10Mb switch that doesn't support Auto-Negotiation or even a hub? The 802.3u Fast Ethernet spec includes the ability to auto-negotiate both speed & duplex which I assume the ELU32 interface follows(?) If the switch it is connected to doesn't negotiate duplex (we tried a Cisco Catalyst 1900) what does the ELU32 default to? Full or Half Duplex. I remember somewhere in the spec that stated if the device you are connecting to doesn't auto-negotiate then fallback to half-duplex. Is this the case with the ELU32?
There is very little documentation on this card I can find; bar the setting of IP address/mask/gateway and codec list.
Thanks
