elu31/2 automatic cable delay measurement (acdm) 1

i am trying to get the acdm sync working between two lims with elu31/2 cards (firmware rev r6a.)

distance between LIMS is about 1km
md110 runs BC12 sp10.

when printing out cxcfp the delay value shows 255 which seem to indicate that it has nt actually worked out the delay.

Also the sync bits show that the cards are actually syncronised correctly with one card being the master and the other being the member.

has anyone any experience of actaully seeing this work ?

Hi

Take care the the parameter ACDM is working with a new cable between ELU32. Technically you have 2 twisted pairs for sync and you need 2 extra twisted pairs for ACDM between ELU32.
So 255 mean that ACDM was not able to mesure the delay and mainly this mean that the pair for ACDM is missing. or not correctly connected.
