In BC12SP9 I experienced a problem of the long lines analogue extensions, such as low speech volume, low ringing, can't dial DTMF or decadic..... I think I should change in SCAOS, right? Does any one have the modification for the long line transmission parameters.
I know that I can change the TRM to 3, but no success the same.....Our market is standard.

what kind of distances are you trying to use? What cabling infrastructure do you have in place ?

First of all you must take a look at to your transmission table. There is a curruption over there and you should change the attenuation positions. Look at the two numbers attenuation positions and change these positions by using LSATI command the db value must be higher.

I don't think changing the transmission levels will solve your problem. Measure the on-hook and off-hook voltages at the phone end, also measure the loop current when the phone is off-hook. Compare the measured values to an extension very close to the LIM. I don't believe the EL-29's have enough "ooomph" to push a signal down an extended distance.

I'd suggest trying an ELU-24 if you have or can get one (an ELU-18 is ideal but I dunno if you'd havemuch success in locating one).....if not, you may need to put in a loop extender to drive the signal over the distance.

Amplification/Attenuation Matrix for the standard market assign in all cases of switching value of 2, this value "2" corresponds to 0 db amplification in the amplification/attenuation table.

So, i cannot change the amplification of the value 2, and also i cannot change the switching value, thats why I think it is SACOS which can change this.....

Another free long line? Change equipment and telephone..

DTMF detection level is already pretty high (00 18) so can't change that.

with ELU21 you can "boost" the signal quite a bit...

Hi,
if there are some free pairs in cable, try use one pair as one wire for test . I think it looks like very poor quality of cable as dstrang1 wrote.
