ELO15A2 Touch PC Wireless Issue

I have recently purchased an ELO15A2 touch screen pc and installed an Atheros AG5005G wireless mini pci card. The issue I am having is wireless connectivity. This unit is located directly under an AP in our plant and is only getting a low wireless connectivity, keep in mind there a clear line of sight to said access point. I cannot explain it and i'm having an issue resolving it. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
