Hi,
We're upgrading from 4.3.1 to 5.2.3 in the next few months. Given that the organisation has Active Directory in place, I am surprised that our sys admins are still debating Unix vs Ellipse authentication. I'm pretty tired of MIMS authentication being thought of as distinct from the existing AD.
Given that we are 12 months on from the last post I could find on the topic, is LDAP authentication now basically available out of the box? If so, shouldn't our Mincom consultants be telling us about it? I'm not an infrastructure guy, so I don't know about "TXseries Version 5" or ptf's.
Has anyone linked MIMS/Ellipse to their AD?

LDAP is available for ECP 3.2+ (CICS - Ellipse), ETP 5.6+ (Tuxedo - Ellipse and MIMS) and MincomTP 12R (MIMS customers only)

Configuration for Ellipse is dealt with in the Ellipse Manuals.

For MincomTP it is dealt with in the release notes.
