ELL vs T2

I have a 10MBPS ELL, and a 2MBPS T2 line.

I did a benchmark using a ZDNet online tester. I realised that the T2 line much faster than the 10MBPS ELL although is only 2MBPS.

Is this normal or is there something amiss with my hardware?
