I have a HUGE list of items in an excel column. Some of the items are repeated. I need to eliminate all the repeated items... so that I have a list where each item only appears once.

I've done this in a long, indirrect, inefficient module, however I'm sure there is a simple way to do it.

If anyone can at least tell me the function that I should use... I should be good. Or if there is not a specific function - a description of the process I should use.

Any help will be much appreciated.

thanks,

- Hogie

On Excel's Data menu, can you choose Filter | Advanced Filter... and select Unique records only? That's what I'd use from the Excel interface.

BRILLIANT! I knew there was a simple way of doing it.

Thanks for the help.
