After formating a "row" I noticed that not only did the cells I wanted formated change but all cells below what I use are also formated (fill color change). Now when I try to print it wants to print a zillon pages :) How can I turn the formating off for everything below my active cells while leaving my active cells as is?

Thank You

How about the Undo Button? Skip,

Skip,

Undo won't work at this stage. Many events have taken place since this occured. When I did the formatting I clicked on the entire row and filled the cell with a color. But it also filled the entire row to infinity. Now when I try to print it wants to print to infinity. I tried to undo just the cells I didn't want formated but it goes on forever. I know there is probably a simple way of fixing this but I'm perplexed.

Thanks

Well,

Whatever formatting you performed, highlight the row and remove.

Set the font/interior color to automatic/no fill, etc Skip,

First, select the cells that are valid.
Then, under File, choose Print Area, then Set Print Area.
This will limit the hard copy to a page containing just those selected cells.

I find it easiset to go to the bottom-right cell, then swipe up and left until I have them all selected.

Not sure on how much difference this makes, depending on your file's size, but I think the extra formatting of all those unused cells increases the file size. Not much, but if you already have a huge spreadsheet, you will see difference in load time.
