My report has 2 subreports in it. When I export the report into Excel, there are page headers in the export file. I don't have any page headers in the subreport or in the printed version.

How do I get rid of the page headers in my export file???

Thanks,

Hillary

Are you saying that when you open the file in Excel and do File>PageSetup there is an entry in the PageHeaderFooter section? If not, and you are not using page headers in your report, what makes you describe them as page headers?

The headers are in the body of data, not the Header/Footer section of Excel. Every 50 or so lines in Excel has the header info (Part ID, Qty, etc...) instead of numbers. For example, row 1 is text with Header Info. Rows 2-51 are data. Row 52 is header info again. Rows 53-102 are data. Row 103 is header info. ect...

Thanks for your help,

Hillary

What is happening here is that Access is outputting the field names as column headers. It is nothing to do with page size or anything like that. You get column headings for your group fields and then column headings for every subreport section.

As far as I know there is nothing you can do to alter this behaviour.

You can reduce the incidence of the column headers if you can find some way of removing the subform and using a group instead, but obviously this may not be possible for your report.
