Holiday Greetings,

I've found several posts on how to eliminate spaces in fields, but didn't see what I need, which is a way to eliminate the enter, or new line, code in a memo field so that text will all run together.

Better yet, to replace it with a space.

Is such a thing possible?

Thanks in advance.

TWD,
Consider using the Replace() function. Assuming the new line is Chr(13) & Chr(10), set your control source to something like:

=Replace([MemoField], Chr(13) & Chr(10), " ")

Duane,

Once again, you've saved the day. . . have a star (do you ever get tired of getting them?)

Much thanks,
TWD

Thanks for the star. Stars are a nice feature of Tek-Tips but I think most of us would still be here posting replies without them.
