Eliminate Duplicate Records-----Issue 1

Hi,

I am select two columns from one folder. I am getting data very fast.
While i set the property Eliminiate Duplicate in the filter tab, report is taking long time to get data.

What could be the reason????

Sri,

When you select the Eliminate Duplicates option, Impromptu is sending a Select Distinct clause to the database. If the table is large and/or the columns selected are not indexed this can take quite a while on the database. If you are doing local processing, it can take even longer.
