elimate icons from desktop

its a way to eliminate ALL the icons in XP desktop?? this because i manage all my programas with keyboard shortcuts and i want no icons in the desktop... it is this possible?? thanx

You can hide them.... right click desktop===> Arrange Desktop Icons ==> Uncheck Show Desktop Icons

. for GUID icons, (Recycle Bin, for example), right-click a blank desktop area, Properties, Desktop tab, Customize Desktop, and uncheck the entries.

. For shortcuts, or "regular" icons, right-click, Delete.
