Determined that I should do an INI as my CDR port is not sending out data to my buffer box.

What happens when an INI takes place? Do active calls disconnect?
Thanks.

In case of MGS Type yes
If you use CPP Signaling Server and CPP Callserver active calls not interrupting during INIT

I think I would troubleshoot the serial port further if you haven't. Put a laptop on the serial cable and see if you are getting raw CDR. An INI is basically a warm boot and activate calls can be dropped if using any type of IP Controller.

I did try to put a laptop on the serial cable but no data was being sent.
Thanks for replying.

Did you try disabling and then enabling the tty port
