element manager and cs1000 6.0 1

hi,

just wondering if anyone knows how to get element manager up in cs1000e 6.0 release. i show ss and em as deployed in the ucm but what next? the book shows them getting to the em via the deployment manager but i can't find it. when i use either the tlan or elan address i always get the ucm login screen.

sorry i'm installing a HA system where the cs is on a separate cppm card.(vxworks) and ss on a linux cppm card.

You have to log into UCM. You should've created an admin login when you completed the security configuration. Then, after you completed security configuration, it rebooted, and you deployed your apps (the SS and EM on your Linux CPPM). So now you go to the ELAN or TLAN address of the Linux CPPM / UCM and log in with the ADMIN username / password. I believe you can also use the root or nortel password.

From there, the first screen you should see is the elements - and one of those will be your SS / EM. It'll then open EM in that same frame.
