I have a tablet pc (UMPC) and I am wanting to have the customer sign the device and store that Signature. Does anyone know how to accomplish this in Access?

Thanks in advance.
Thom

We use DBPix 2.0 which is a addin works fine. We capture the signature on PDAs and then transfer it to access where it is stored in a feild as a binary object, DBPix then creates it back to a signature to display on reports etc.

Just watch out, you db will grow is size as the binary object takes up a couple of k for each one.

If you go down this route thenyou might want to think about storing the complete report as a pdf, this is what we are messing with now.

So what is the datatype you use for the access database to store the binary object?

Thanks
Thom
