I have a customer with an Electra Elite IPX that was unplugged for a while during re-construction and then put back up. I thought that with it being unplugged, it might lose some memory, but everything remained programming except for one phone which came up as a different extension number. I wanted to know an easy way to change the extension number from 105 to 102, hopefully through programming from a set. There are only 2 lines and 4 phones on this system and only one amphenol connector was required, which I take gave me access to 4 lines and 4 sets. In testing the remaining port, it wasn't 102 either. I went through earlier posts and I'm not sure if the Feature #, etc will give me access to the programming to make a quick change? I see that this system is an older system with the register based programming like the old Mitels. The system and voicemail is in place to process calls to the existing extensions and of course the menu and trying to direct calls to the extension 102.

Any help would be appreciated.

Press FEATURE + HOLD + # + * + 0 to get into the program mode from extensions 101 or 102 (see programming manual The CONF key increments port number. Transfer key writes data.
Press line key 4 then type 10 to get to extension numbering. Be careful you can double assign numbers and mess up the phone operations.
At any phone press FEATURE (FNC) + 4 to see what port and extension number the phone is.

Thanks! I'll try this when I'm onsite in the next day.

Thanks Again!

Hey for navigation purposes how do you scroll ahead or behind to navigate to the right extension number to change?

CONF goes forward, I use * and # to move cursor back and forward then type in new port number.
