We have an Electra Elite IPK system with a VMS card and an ACD card.

Is there a way to feed the Caller ID data to an individual computer sitting next to a phone? I know there are caller ID boxes that do this, but they seem to only work with analog phone lines. All we have is digital for the phones. No IP phones either. (Is there even a difference for caller ID data?) Is there an NEC brand or perhaps a third party product that would do this?

This is what I want to do: We have a call center where people call in with questions. The Customer Ed people have to then manually pull up the clients file on a proprietary application. Now if I could give my programmers the specs for something that feeds the caller ID data into the computer, they could write a piece of code that would automatically pull up the client file when a call is received. Similarily, have it function the other way. The Employee pushes a button in the computer and the phone would make a call.

You would need a TAPI adapter CT(A)-R (9 pin rs-232) or a CT(U)-R (USB Interface). You will also need an AC-R power supply and TAPI software.

I just Purchased a Electra Elite IPK with no manuals. I need to know how to hookup the system to the phones. I have 5 new lines but don't know how to connect them and the program them to the write handset.
