electra Elite 192 questions

1 is it appears that to program one needs a serial point on a laptop or other PC and some SAT software that seems to be available only from NEC dealers, (is there anything else I would need)
2nd is there a Cheat Sheet or something that says what is what, and what does what, what error codes mean,
I ask these two things as I have been told I need to support a pair of 192's that are tied together with a fiber optic link, nobody seems to know who orginally installed it nor do I have anything other then the PDF's I got off a web site and I haven't done anything with nec before

You do not need the SAT program, it's actually easier to program the system through a phone.

I did see their NEC manuals but not the 192 specifically which one would be closest ?

The Electra Elite IPK.

The manual is Elite 48/192...but the IPK manual is practically the same..
