Electra Elite 192 Group Extension/Virtual 1

Hi all,

I am new to pbx so please bare with me. I have a Electra Elite 192 system. I would like extension 303 to ring on three phones, all DTU-8D-2 (8 button).

So #303 should ring on #106, #123, and #125. So if two are not available to pick up, there is always a third person. I hope that you understand what I am trying to ask.

I know it has something to do with "SIE"? Any help is well appreciated. Any ideas? Thanks

To do this requires several programs.

First you will need to kno the ports for each of the extensions that you would like to work with. To do this go to each phone and press Feaature (FNC) 4. The display will show you the port and the extension number. make a note of all the port numbers.

Next at Extension 100 (or port 1)
Press Feature (FNC) Hold # 0 *
Press Line Key # 4
Dial 12 on the keypad
the display will show something similar to

01/12 : L01 = CO 01
Time Display

01 indicates the port number
12 indicates the program you are working on
L01 indicates the line key you are working on
everthing after the = sign is what is currently assigned the button

Press the Conference key to scroll to the port number you would like to work on.

Once you find the port for the first phone you would like to work on. you will use the # key to scroll the cursor to the L01 field and enter the button number you would like to change to 303. Once you are on the correct port and correct line key you will press line key number 9 then using the keypad enter the port unmber for extension 303. Press transfer to save your changes. You will repeat this for each each phone you would like to add 303 onto.

Third.
To make 303 ring on each of the phone you will enter programming by pressing Feature (FNC) Hold # 0 *
Press Line Key Number 4
then dial 37 on the keypad

at this point the display should look somehting similar to this.

01/37 : EXT DAY |01
Tie Display

01 = port number
37 = program number
Ext Day show the name of the program you are in
the last 01 show which page of line keys you are on.

To make the phone ring you will use the Conference button to scroll to the port of the first phone you would like to change once you are the correct port number press the button that you programmed 303 to be on. the button should turn green to indicate an immediate ring, if you press it twice it will turn red to indicate a delayed ring. Press transfer to save you changes. then repeat this to make each phone ring.

Thanks a bunch, that worked just perfect. You saved me a lot of time. Only one of the three acctually rings while the other two only lit up the line buttons.

106 - Line blinks when call coming through with no ring
123- Line blinks when call coming through with no ring
125 - Line blinks with ring

I checked the volume, its all the way up. Any ideas?

I would start by revisiting the 4-37 command normally this would be the only command to make an sie key ring.
