electra elite 192 & remote access

Internal Modem & MIFM card, I have two 192s with the follwing configuration, ISA slot MIFM with modem Daughter card, S1 has DTI card and S2 has CCH card, Short of redoing the configuration of each which would be a major pain the the Back Side, is there anything I can do to make the system see the modem, ???
if I use the SAT software I can connect directly to the system with the MIFM installed and it doesn't when not installed.
any help appriciated

I'm in Aust, and our systems require the MIFM to be in slot 1 to get the modem to work. Same goes with the SPE card and its on board modem.

Needs to be in slot one or two
Also the call needs to be a transfered call for the modem to answer.

after a little more looking I got it working with a external modem, I hadn't been using the correct RS-232 connection, once that was in it worked flawlessly
(the rs232 connection had pins 6&8 going to 20 swapping pins 4 & 5 long with pins 2 & 3, and pin 7 to pin 7)
