I am at the stage of preparatory planning of a large project, currently in teh bid stage. What i want to do is this:
enter tasks & dependencies
create each task as an elaspsed day task e.g. 10 edays
assign resources and give them a number of days that will apply in the alspsed day period e.g. 2mdays in the 10edays
So far so good. However I may need to move tasks around, i want to retain the elasped days AND the number of days effort for each resource i.e. I don't want to recalculate. And if I change the elasped days I don't want the days per resource to change. I am using Fixed duration, can I switch of calculation to do this? I can't work out how to achieve this, I'm sure that it must be possible?
