Hey everyone,
I know it has been a long time since I was on this forum!
I am still have some of that Legato for dummys I was writing and it looks like I may have to write it all up for my current position. If I do, I will pass it on. Please don't hassle me over it, it will be ready when it is ready :)
My Question is, I know there is no easy way to eject a single DLT tape at the end of a backup process, but can you do it through scripts?
I guess I could use nsrmm -j to do this but not too sure on the correct syntax/process.
Advice?

Hi x2shy,

If you have a Jukebox, try

nsrjb -u

bye cyberted

Hi,
if you have a JB there is a settings called "idle device timeout" that permit the JB to unload the media after x minutes.

Otherwise if you have a stand alone drive, you can use nsrjb -u -f <device> called by postcmd in savepnpc on backup command.

Good luck.
