Guys, I was in the process of re-building a Proliant 2500 server w/Windows 2000 Server but the install would not proceed since it couldn't find the available 64MB although I had 384MB on-board.
What happened was that during the Smartstart installation process, I disabled one of the EISA slots which had a Token Ring card installed, so upon re-boot it would give a EISA configuration error. Apparently Win2K does not like this, so I proceeded to removed the card and restarted the installation and it proceeded as normal.
Moral of the story is make sure the EISA configuration is trouble free prior to Win2K installation (NOT A BIG DEAL SINCE I DON'T THINK THERE ARE MANY OF YOU TRYING TO INSTALL WIN2K ON EISA BUS MACHINES)
