EIGRP and RIP Routing Problem

Hello Friends,

I have a problem I've inherited that I'm hoping you can help me with. There are 3 sites involved, we'll call them 1,2 and 3. At site one, there are two routers, we'll call them A and B, that are connected into a common LAN backbone. Router A is a 3620 with a single serial and is running RIP V2, and is connected into the frame cloud to site 2. Router B is a 2501 that is running EIGRP AS1 and Rip V2, set passive and redistributing routes to EIGRP AS1. Site 2's router is a 2621 with 2 serial's, running EIGRP AS2 and RIP V2, redistributing statics. Serial one is connected to the frame cloud back to site 1 and serial 2 is connected to a P2P T-1 to site 3. Site 3's router is a 7206 running EIGRP AS1, EIGRP AS2 set passive and Rip V2, redistributing the statics and EIGRP AS2. Here is the problem. When the T-1 goes down at site 2, the A router at site 1 has no visability into site 3's 7206 and never learns the routes from the B router. I would like to configure the A router when this occurs, to learn the routes from the B router, until I can remove the B router all together from the network. Any Ideas??? Thanks
 
Just so I get this right

Since there is only 1 path to everything using routing protocols is really unnecessary. Assuming the Internet is hanging off the 7200 somewhere do this:
Remove RIP and EIGRP off all routers
Use static routes to all the downstream subnets and a default route upstream.

I don't understand, if I got your topology right if the T1 at Site2 dies nobody can get to Site3.

Using two routing protocols when you don't have to is crazy talk. If you insist on using a routing protocol (which will be slower than static) just use EIGRP w/ 1 AS.

Thank You for the response! The topology is as follows:
Site1 A Site 1 B Site 2 A Site 3 A
3620----eth-----2501 2621 7206
RIPV2 EIGRP/RIPV2 EIGRP/RIPV2 EIGRP/RIPV2
FR--2A FR-- 3A FR--1A/P2P--3A FR--1B/P2P--2A

What is happening: when the P2P T-1 goes down btw. site 2 and site 3, Site 1 has no visibility into site 3 which is the corporate office. There is a static route on site 2A's router the allows site 1A's router to get to Site 3A's router. The T-1 is going down quite frequently. Would you suggest removing the static on 2A's router and adding a static on site 1A's router directly to Site 3A's router? I need a quick fix. Just so you know, the reason for RIP and EIGRP is that the network is Cisco and Nortel. The 3 routers in this discussion however, are all cisco. Thanks for the help Jeff...I appreciate it!
 
I wonder if you might try a floating static route on 1A. One route would be preferred unless it went down. You would also have to put routes (back to Site 1) on the Site 3 router if 2 fails. That is if I have the layout right.
