EHDU Setup! 1

I've never tried to setup an external hot desk user before but have setup ACD / standard hot desk user not a problem at all!! and this has me going nuts!

can someone point me towards what I need to do to get this to work!!!

I get as far as

"If EHDU calls come in on a dial-in trunk, configure digit modification to terminate the call on the Hot Desking access number entered in the Miscellaneous Assignment form."

I have the number in the misc form but not sure what I need to do to the trunk service form or dig mod....?!

I'm slow but thought I'd be able to work this out - please help if you can!?

The misc assignment form setting is strictly for the Hotdesk User to remotely access the system to activate features. It is optional.

I'm concerned that you say you've setup an ACD? hotdesk user. I don't beleive you can associate an ACD agent with EDHU.

Typical Setup:

1 - Create Standard hotdesk user
2 - Assign External HD license and configure phone number
3 - Assign COS that has Hot Desk Permanent Login enabled, Disable Answer Confimation
4 - Create personal ring group with Desk Phone DN
5 - Add EDHU (step 1) to PRG
