Egypt sample DS1 board configuration (Telecom Egypt)

Hi,

Anyone have a sample E1 configuration of Telecom Egypt? Trunk is up on my side, inbound call is working but outbound calling is not. Before escalating to Telco, i wanted to cross check if my DS1 board configuration is correct or not. I'm running CM8.

I don't have an example for Egypt, but if inbound is working then it is very likely the DS1 is configured correctly.

For basic troubleshooting, try tracing your phone while making a call - list trace station XXXXX. Look for:

[li]ARS - call should go out ARS (Automatic Route Selection)[/li]
[li]Route Pattern - The correct route for that type of call (local, long distance, international)[/li]
[li]Trunk Group - This specific Trunk Group[/li]
[li]Any Error - "Deny" or other verbiage. Should also include some details, such as if the FRL is incorrect or if the carrier denied the call.[/li]
