Let's see if I can explain myself. I need to place several times in many different pages and places a label referring to pictures I am placing in a brochure. The background of my pages is divided in two columns being the left one green and the right one white. What I want is to have this text being written in black but as long I move it from left to right, trying to place it in the right position I want that only the text that goes on top of the green column becomes white. I tried many ways like clipping, pathfinder but nothing works. I don't know if I am selecting the right objects or I have to work only with the text. I appreciate any help...

If I understand you, and I'm sure I don't.

What you need to do is create one for the Green bit with the type white.
Then create another one for the white bit with the black type.

Go to File>new>library

Then with you black arrow select one of them and click and drag it onto the library pallet.

Then do the same for the other one.

Once both of them are in the library, you can delete the ones on the page you just made.

Now everytime you want to use one of them, simply drag onto the page from the library.
