EFAH08W Problems

I've tried to get this hub working other than my BEFSR41 which is giving me issues, but this too seems on the fritz.

I've not used this ever, I got it from a friend so I dont know if it worked before...

I power it on, and get a power light. But plugging in any computers or from the wall LAN plug to either the uplink or any other port gets nothing.

Any ideas?

From the wall plate make a straight-thru cable connection to the uplink port.

You computers then get connected to the regular LAN ports with straight-thru cables.

thats what I tried first...no lights indicating anything was plugged in other than power
