From the screenshots, it looks OK except that the toolbars take up too much vertical space. I'll have a look whether it is possible to move the toolbars to one line or to the left/right. The newer screens are very wide but just as tall as they were 8-10 years ago so you see fewer lines when there are that many toolbars. I have the same problem with eclipse (huge tabs) and Office 2007 (huge ribbon).

I tried to move the toolbars already, but without result.

Nevertheless, it has colours on the screen as I prefer and I think it can print in colour as well, though I didn't try that out yet.

I use it in combination with gfortran o a separate prompt window.

I tend to switch between editors depending on what features I want. Quick fixes - vim. Things I need to think about, I use IDEs.

I looked at the editor. It looks nice but the last version is from 2008. The question is, if it's still developed or not.

All that (and more) has vim too.
With vim you can convert your source into syntax-highlighted HTML. Then for example, the resulting HTML is easily transformable into TGML and so you can post your colored source here at Tek-Tips - see:
I like vim, because it has syntax for every programming language I'm using, even for such languages as COBOL, RPG, CL (AS/400) JCL (mainframe)...
