Editor, Javascript keyword colouring etc. in no .asp or .htm files

Using Visual Interdev 6.0 I am editing large Javascript files with a .js extension. For the sake of my eyes and sanity is it possible to get the text editor to colour format the files in the same way as it does for client side script on .asp and .html files.<br><br>temporarliy renaming the file is not an option as I work with many files under strict source control so the hassle factor would be too great.<br><br>Thanks
