Editing Welcome message 2

I need to modify/change the existing welcome message saying, " Welcome to AIX Version 5.3! This system is ........" on the logon. I looked at /etc/security/login.cfg, but the message is not there. Where would the message be?

that would be /etc/motd i believe.

Try looking at the 'herald' section in /etc/security/login.cfg

There's also /etc/motd, of course.
