I just installed SQL 2005 Standard x64 to start learning and testing in preperation of upgrading our SQL 2000 databases to it.

After installing, I brought up the Server Management Studio and I was able to figure out how to use the part that is like the Query Analyzer in 2000, but I can't figure out how to do a query on a table and edit the fields like I can in Enterprise Manager. I keep reading how Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer are combined into the Management Studio, but I sure can't figure out the Enterprise protion of it.

What am I missing?

Thanks

Mike

Right click on the table in Object browser. Then from Menu select "Open"
SSMS is combination of EM and QA and has all features of both tools combined :)

Thanks Borislav. That did work. I'm not sure if I like what MS has done to this combined program. I'm glad I decided to get it several months early so I can start working with it before we actualy migrate to it later this year.

Thanks for the help.
