I need to get areas of some shapes done with splines but I cannot join them as you can do with plines, nor can I explode them...can I join and convert serial splines into 1?

Hi,

There's two ways that could achieve what you want..

1: Unless you need 100% accurately replicated splines, you could try using a polyline and turning it to a splined curve, which is in the pedit command..
Just draw the polyline through the control points of the original spline then use pedit and type s to spline the polyline..

2: If the area is going to be closed, you could convert the polylines, lines and splines etc into a region. You can also join splines using this technique as long as as the area is going to joined..

Anyway, I hope this helps..

Cheers,
