As I did not get any answer in the Microsoft Office forum, I decided to try it here.
First of all, I would like to say hello to all of you and thank those who will be able and willing to help me.![[thumbsup2] [thumbsup2] [thumbsup2]](/data/assets/smilies/thumbsup2.gif)
I'm using W98SE with Office 2000.
In Outlook 2000 Options, I have cleared the box "Use Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages".
This works fine for my outgoing messages and for most received messages. However when I try to edit some of the received messages (probably those from people using Word as e-mail editor?) Word opens, the message is shown as "Document x" and I can only save it as a document, leaving the original message unchanged.![[sad] [sad] [sad]](/data/assets/smilies/sad.gif)
Is there a way to prevent Word from editing any message or,
if not, is there a way to actually change the original message?
