I just recently started working with Goldmine. I was hired by my boss to do some db cleanup, among other things. The first thing I decided to tackle was cleaning up his telephone contacts. Ever since he started using Goldmine, he hasn't had a set way of entering contact phone numbers. Here is a quick sample:
()(301)794-1383x
(1)(301)429-6589
()(301)429-8062x
(301)429-8062
(301)306-6477
(1)(301)794-1038
()(301)794-1276x

(1)(703)453-1402
()(301)794-1514x
(1)(602)207-8468
As you can see, some have the 1 in front, some have empty parens, and some have multiple numbers in their fields. Is there a SQL query that can clean this up, or will I have to go into using C++ or something else to clean this up?
