editing motion between key frames

Hello,
I'm new to Flash, but I am familiar w/Director. In Director I can create 2 key frames and then I can get a line(white or yellow, can't remember exact color of line) of motion that I can twist and bend the line to show how I want the object to move between the frames. I can't seem to find this option in Flash. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Ok, that really doesn't answer my question. How do I get the line so I can move it around at my choice WITHOUT drawing a line. For Example:

If it doesn't exist in Flash, fine, but my question was how do I get this option in Flash. Thanks,
